Our hydrogeologist has finished surveys at every school. 11 sites are confirmed; we're checking an alternative spot for the twelfth.
The story
In Turkana County, children often walk two to four hours a day to fetch water, and many miss school because of it.
With your help we will drill and equip 12 solar-powered boreholes at primary schools, train a water committee at each school, and fund maintenance for three years.
Every KSh 1,300 (about $10) provides clean water for one pupil for a full year. We publish a progress update with photos every month.
